Gladys is a sweet young woman with many friends. She always has something positive to say about the people around her--and life in general, even though life has been hard for her. Having lost both her father and brother during the war, Gladys has experienced much grief in her life. And, yet she still remains a hopeful, positive young woman. Gladys is currently in her third year of secondary school and has always had a strong commitment to her education. Following secondary school, she plans to pursue continued education and become a doctor.
